Step away from the busyness of the season and enter the quiet beauty of winter. As the Solstice approaches, this restorative afternoon retreat begins with a gentle Forest Bathing walk outdoors, then moves indoors for an immersive Sound Bath.
Together, we’ll slow down, rest, reflect, and welcome the return of the light.

Wild Calm Retreat at The Lodge at Pine Cove
Monday September 7---Thursday September 10, 2026
Why a Forest Bathing Retreat? Slow down and experience the forest, the granite, the trees, the water, the stars, through all your senses--in a way you never have before....,
Rooted in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, Forest Bathing is a gentle, mindful way to restore your connection with the natural world.
Why The Lodge at Pine Cove? Packages are All-inclusive. Prices vary depending on Cabin choice. All cottages include all meals and :
• Complimentary fine teas and locally roasted Ashanti coffee
• Natural soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion
• Delivered hamper breakfast to your door
What will happen? Sometimes, slowing down takes more than just a moment—it takes time to gently unwind, to breathe more deeply, and to let the forest work its quiet magic. This Forest Bathing Retreat invites you to step away from the pace of daily life and immerse yourself fully in the sights, sounds, and stillness of the natural world.
With more time, the experience unfolds at a deeper level. You’ll be guided through simple practices that awaken the senses, help release stress, and invite connection—with yourself, with others, and with the living landscape around you. Savour the time that allows space for lingering, reflection, and restoration in ways that a shorter experience can’t always provide.
This is a chance to let the landscape hold you a little longer, so you can carry its calm and clarity with you when you leave. And still, lots of free time to enjoy your choice of other wonderful activities as well.

🌲 What to Bring for Forest Bathing
In the forest, it tends to be cooler, and since we won't be moving vigorously, please dress warmer than you think you’ll need—as if you were planning to take a nap in the woods (that’s the vibe!).
Recommended:
The terrain is gentle, but if you have any concerns about stability, feel free to bring hiking poles—I’ll also have some available to borrow. Let me know if you have mobility concerns. Our walk will be slow and mindful, covering about 1 kilometre over an hour.
🎶 What to Bring for Sound Bathing
Please bring:
No experience is needed—just bring an open mind and a willingness to be present.
🍎 Other Notes
Warmly,
Beth and Lisa
